Emma's baby sister

Went for an ultrasound this morning and we saw "Baby Sister" as Emma calls her.  Baby Sister is doing great!  She was sleeping during the ultrasound but she did move her hand a bit.  She is head-down although she could still move positions since I still have 9 weeks to go.  The doctor said everything looked perfect, her heartbeat was 145 and she weighed 3lbs 10oz which puts her in the 53rd percentile.  Crazy that they can tell exactly how much she weighs.  Here are a couple of pictures - the baby's hand is in front of her face so you can only see the profile.

Emma is being really sweet to Baby Sister.  Every day she has to give Baby Sister a hug and a kiss good morning, good night and even good bye.  The other day when we dropped Emma off both Jamey and I gave her a hug and a kiss goodbye and then I was walking away and she yelled, wait mommy, Baby Sister kiss.  She ran up to me and gave my belly and hug and a kiss and said miss you. It was so sweet!  She also told the baby the other day to come out - she said "come out Baby!" We told her that the baby needed to stay in for a while longer but soon enough the baby will be here.  It is quite cute to see how nice and lovey she is being towards the belly - we all just hope she will be as sweet as she is when reality sets in and the baby is born and living in our house.
