Yup – it’s true – Emma is going to be a big sister. And with that there will be some changes on the horizon. One is the name of the blog will need to change unless we tell the story of her sibling through her eyes…
Anyway, I am due at the end of August and we are very excited. It has been a rough pregnancy so far – I have been pretty nauseous to the point the doctor prescribed me anti-nausea medicine. Thank goodness I haven’t vomited but –it’s been a real challenge to eat. I’ve been really tired too which can be expected but now in my second trimester I am slowly getting my energy back. Jamey’s been amazing during this time because he’s been getting up with Emma every morning and doing most of the work at night. He is just fantastic!!!
We don’t know yet if we are going to find out the sex of the baby. There is something so fun about it being a surprise but I would be lying if I didn’t say I am a bit curious to find out. We will see.
We told Emma about the baby and she is really cute about it. Everyday I ask her to say hi to the baby and she comes over to me, lifts up my shirt and kisses my belly. It is super sweet. I am looking forward to when the baby is moving around and she can feel it.
